Bluetooth Mesh Gateway

Our Bluetooth mesh gateway uses standard Bluetooth Mesh to obtain sensor data via mesh relay nodes.

The sensing itself is performed by any type of beacon whose advertising is picked up by the mesh relay nodes:

The gateway serves four main purposes:

  • Provisioning new relay nodes
  • Connecting to the nearest relay node to get mesh sensor data
  • Sending configuration information to the mesh to filter sensor beacons
  • Forwarding the sensor data to your server, BeaconServer™ or BeaconRTLS™

UPDATE: We have updated SensorMesh™ to work without a gateway. Data now arrives via a USB COM port. We also include a Windows 10 Service that runs on your hardware or we have a separate stand-alone Gateway Box that sends COM port data to your server.
