However, what does MFi mean?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certified beacons meet Apple&#8217;s beacon specifications. There was a time that these specifications were secret and only available to <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/programs\/mfi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MFi<\/a> partners. However, these have since become available after you have ok&#8217;d an agreement.
