A system was implemented to provide for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Optimum water and fertiliser use<\/li><li>Better quality and yield of crops<\/li><li>Increased safety<\/li><li>Reduction in production costs<\/li><li>Reduction in negative impacts on the health and environment<\/li><li>Smart traceability<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sensors allow calibration of irrigation and fertilisation based on crop type, growth phase, soil and environmental conditions.
