STMicroelectronics have announced their Latest SoC, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st.com\/content\/st_com\/en\/products\/wireless-connectivity\/bluetooth-bluetooth-low-energy\/bluenrg-1.html\" target=\"_blank\">BlueNRG-1<\/a> and Fujitsu have announced the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fujitsu.com\/uk\/about\/resources\/news\/press-releases\/2016\/fceu-20160729-01.html\" target=\"_blank\">FWM7BLZ20<\/a>\u00a0module.<\/p>\n<p>The BlueNRG-1 has a SPI interface to communicate with an\u00a0application processor suggesting use within other larger hardware systems while the Fujitsu FWM7BLZ20 is a pre-certified module with integrated antenna, based on the Nordic nRF52832, allowing you to get to market quicker.<\/p>\n<p>While these new products are suitable for beacon related products, their use is more likely to be targeted at Bluetooth LE IoT applications.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following Toshiba, silicon manufacturers are becoming more active in the Bluetooth LE space.
