It quotes Nokia who think that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/m360-2016-latin-america-article\/applications-set-to-dominate-iot-value-chain\/\" target=\"_blank\">applications are set to dominate the IoT value chain<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t applications, as in apps, but platforms, systems (and sometimes controlling apps) that create ecosystems for specific vertical needs.
