Small, light, wearable beacon with a 100m range. Advertises iBeacon, Eddystone UID, Eddystone URL, Eddystone TLM, and sensor info (battery level, temperature and acceleration). Supports motion triggered detection. Uses the newer Nordic nRF52810 SoC for improved battery life.
This temperature is the System on a Chip (Soc) die/chip temperature. As the chip is low power and generates little heat, this tends to track the external temperature.
